WILD REMEMBERING — Living Life as the Sacred Bridge
THIS RETREAT IS FULL! See you next time
A One‑Day Immersion • February 7, 2026
@ Indigenous Roots Institute
Wild Remembering is a one‑day ceremonial journey of rooting into what truly supports us.
This day is about remembrance—not as an idea, but as a lived, embodied experience. We gather to listen deeply to the land, the ancestors, the animal kin, and the wisdom that already lives within our bones. We step into our role as the sacred bridge between worlds, between past and future, between Earth and spirit.
The Invitation—The land remembers us. And it longs for our return.
So many of us feel the ache of disconnection— from the land, from ancestral wisdom, from our own inner authority. Wild Remembering is an invitation to restore relationship and to remember that wholeness is not something we earn—it is something we reclaim.
This day offers a grounded, safe container to:
• Root into belonging
• Reclaim inner power and choice
• Deepen relationship with land, ancestors, and self
• Remember how to live in sacred reciprocity
The Guides Holding This Work
Kristy Scott of Krystalline Earth https://www.krystallineearthhealing.com/ & Sierra McFeeters of Indigenous Roots https://www.indigenousrootsinstitute.com/.
Together, they bring decades of lived, embodied experience in earth‑based practice, ceremonial facilitation, ancestral remembrance, sound and movement medicine, and land‑centered ways of knowing. Their work is practiced, lived, and continually shaped through long‑term relationship with land, lineage, and community.
This retreat is offered with deep respect for the land, its original peoples, and the living lineages that continue to steward these teachings.
The container is held with care, consent, and reverence. Participants are always invited to honor their own pace, boundaries, and needs. You will be gently guided throughout the day, with spaciousness to engage in ways that feel aligned and authentic to you.
A Glimpse Into the Day—Here’s a felt sense of what we will explore together:
• Smudge & Prayer to open the day and set the ceremonial field • Spirit & Sound Immersion, throughout the day where sound becomes a place of belonging—resonating through the bones and nervous system • Tobacco Plant Teaching & Journey, cultivating a living relationship of trust, reciprocity, and self-remembrance through this sacred plant ally • Animal Divination, gain wisdom from the animal nation, understanding the body as a map • Embodied Movement & Dance, feeding and honoring the animal nations as well as the land while remembering our own instinctual wisdom and how we are being called to show up as sacred stewards • Ancestral Walk & Feeding the Ancestors, bridging our present‑day lives with ancestral work through the land • Vows to the Land, living commitments born from love rather than obligation
Each element is woven with care, intention, and respect for the unseen threads that hold us all.
Sacred Accountability—This work asks something of us.
Accountability here is not about shame or duty—it is an act of love.
We weave accountability to: • The teachings of the Tobacco plant • The animal guides and kinship lines • The ancestors • The land itself
When we take accountability, we are not giving power away—we are reclaiming it.
We are the circle.
To be accountable to the land is to be accountable to ourselves. This remembrance feeds us, strengthens us, and restores choice. We are not victims of circumstance—we are always in relationship, always capable of responding with presence and power.
What This Day Offers You—Participants will leave with:
• A deeper sense of wholeness and belonging
• Clearer understanding of their relationship with land, ancestors, and self
• Renewed trust in their inner authority
• A felt experience of being the sacred bridge
• Living commitments that continue long after the day ends
This is not about learning more—it is about remembering what you already know.
Who This Is For—Wild Remembering is for those who feel the call to:
• Live in deeper relationship with the land
• Reclaim personal and spiritual power
• Root into embodied wisdom rather than concepts
• Honor ancestry while living fully in the present
• Walk as a conscious steward of life
This May Not Be For You If…
• You are looking for a passive retreat or a purely intellectual experience
• You are not open to ceremony, prayer, or earth‑based spiritual practice
• You prefer clear agendas and step‑by‑step instruction over embodied exploration
• You are unwilling to be in relationship—with the land, the group, or yourself
• You are seeking someone else to fix or heal you rather than remembering your own inner authority
This work invites presence, participation, and personal responsibility. It asks for listening, humility, and a willingness to be changed by relationship.
If this feels confronting, it may simply not be the right moment—and that is honored.
